Estwing's Felling Axes are perfect for cutting lumber, chopping fire wood, trimming, cutting, splitting and shaping wood. The 1.25lb forged alloy steel head is hardened to 50-55 HRC, to withstand years of repeated use. The head is fitted to a 14" fibreglass handle this is double injected for increased strength and durability. A textured rubber overlay on the handle provides a comfortable, ergonomic, and secure grip, while also helping to dampen vibrations.
